Do you ever have those days that you know was just a really good day?
Today was one of those. It actually started off really bad. I only got a few hours of sleep and was extremely tired this morning getting up for my 8 a.m. class. Things turned around when I actually understood what we were learning in Calculus. Which, if you know me, is a BIG deal. Then it turned bad again, because when I went to Chemistry, I fell asleep in class. Then it turned good again because I was able to keep my self awake and I understood everything that was going on in there too. Everything kept going good because my third class was cancelled, but it got bad again because I took a nap and slept two hours longer than I meant to. Again, whoops. I thought the rest of the day would have been bad after that, because I had so much homework that I was supposed to do instead of nap. But, it actually wasn’t that bad at all. I went to my Calculus professor’s office hours and got all my confusion for my quiz tomorrow cleared up. Then I got lunch with my SAO girls. And the day ended off with three shots of espresso and hard core studying in the library. And for ONCE, I feel ready for a Calculus quiz.
This whole day relates perfectly to my all time favorite verse, Ecclesiastes 7:14. It says, “When times are good be happy. But when times are bad, consider: God has made one as well as the other.”
Good to bad. Good to bad. That’s how I felt today. It was a like a roller coaster. But never once did I become upset or stressed, because I know that good or bad, God is still with me.
Ecclesiastes 7:14 is a verse that can be put into action any day, every day.
Don’t just read it. USE IT!
